Demond and Drake & Della Productions copyright ©2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006 and are created and produced by a real live individual in Texas and not a studio full of adolescents in Southern California who, if given a choice, would rather spend their entire day drawing action heroines with oversized breasts, instead of slogging away, furthering the megalomaniac vision of a hard-ass entrepreneur who died in 1966. Neither is the creator the grandson of a guy who was paid by William Randolph Hearst for drawing a pen-and-ink cartoon that little old ladies in 1922 thought was "cute", but now is somehow syndicated in 125 newspapers across the country and supported by a new generation of little old ladies and equally vacuous newspaper editors.
